How are Shortlist Lab shortlists ranked?
We do not publish an endless ranked dump. Each shortlist uses role-based picks - Top pick, Upgrade, Best value, and Premium - by job and scene. Tradeoffs and Skip if notes stay visible.
Why might a pick be missing from a shortlist?
A card appears only when it was in stock for US shoppers when we last checked. Empty slot beats an out-of-stock pick. We show when prices and stock were checked. We do not run a product test lab, and we do not invent star ratings.
What does Verified mean on Shortlist Lab?
Verified is a US Amazon listing price and stock check on the date shown on the card. We do not invent Amazon star chips or site-wide rating scores. Confirm the live listing before you buy.
Can a brand buy a ranking slot?
No. Rankings and role assignment stay editorial. Affiliate commissions do not buy a Top pick, a role, or a guaranteed slot.
How often do shortlists update?
We re-check US Amazon prices and stock as listings change. Each card shows when it was last checked. The date on the card is a listing check, not a lab test. An empty slot beats an out-of-stock pick. We do not run a countdown clock on this site.
How do Amazon links work?
See price on Amazon uses affiliate links to Amazon. If you click and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. You finish checkout on Amazon. Confirm the live listing before you buy.
Who handles shipping and returns?
Shortlist Lab is an editorial affiliate site. We do not sell, ship, or warehouse products. Delivery estimates, shipping fees, the seller on the order, and return eligibility follow that Amazon listing and seller policy at checkout.
Do you run a product test lab?
No. We do not run a product test lab. Verified is a US Amazon listing price and stock check on the date shown on the card. Amazon reviews are labeled as Amazon. We do not invent star ratings.
How do I report an error or ask a question?

What personal data does the site collect?
The site may collect limited usage data, contact emails you send us, ordinary browser storage, and Google Analytics 4 events with IP anonymization. We do not sell personal profiles. Details are on the Privacy page.
