Our method
We shortlist home water filters by daily workflow - warmup, steam wand, and grinder needs - not by feature-checklist length. Roles are grounded in retailer listing titles, images, prices, and stock. We do not run a product lab. Editors assign roles after checking retailer listing titles, images, prices, and stock. We only keep roles that were in stock when we checked. Every card says who should skip it. Read full editorial standards
Editorial standards
We shortlist by job and scene, not endless ranked dumps. Pick a role, see the tradeoffs, then open the listing.
Brands can’t buy a Top pick. Affiliate links are disclosed; role assignment stays editorial.
Verified is a US listing price and stock check - not a lab test. Confirm on Amazon before you buy.
Every card names who the product is wrong for. Spot an error? Email hello@shortlistlab.io.
